Switching your Figma Weave subscription from a monthly billing plan to an annual cycle allows you to reduce long-term costs while securing uninterrupted access to AI generation credits. If you are converting individual or team accounts, the process takes only a few minutes through your organization console.
Follow this guide to switch your billing frequency cleanly without losing active seat permissions or stored credits.
Quick checks
- Confirm that your user account has Admin or Billing privileges for the workspace; standard editors cannot modify subscription cycles.
- Verify that your saved payment method has sufficient funds and is valid for international or automated recurring charges.
- Check that the Weave plugin menu is visible in your canvas. If the tool itself is unaccessible, see /fix/figma-weave-missing-in-figma first.
- Navigate to Admin Console
Log into your account, click your profile avatar in the upper-left corner of the file browser, and select Settings or Admin Console depending on your team tier.
- Locate the Billing tab
Click on the Billing tab from the top navigation bar. Look for your current Figma Weave Subscription summary section showing your monthly plan details.
- Change plan cadence to Annual
Select Change Billing Cycle or Edit Plan. Toggle the plan option from Monthly to Annual. Review the updated annual charge total and pro-rated credit calculation.
- Authorize transaction and review invoice
Click Confirm Plan Update. Your account will be charged the discounted annual rate immediately, minus any unused days remaining on your current monthly cycle. If your payment declines during conversion, consult our /fix/figma-weave-billing-error troubleshooting article.
