Figma Weave is missing from the Figma editor

Check entitlement, not the file

Weave is surfaced per seat and per team. Seeing a colleague use it in the same file does not mean your account is entitled.

Restore the panel

1. Update the desktop app, then quit and reopen it.
2. Sign out completely and sign back in so entitlements refresh.
3. Open a design file with edit access — view-only files, dev mode and FigJam legitimately hide it.
4. Open a file owned by the team that holds the entitlement.
5. Ask an admin whether AI features are enabled for your team and whether your seat has an allocation.

Browser comparison test

If the panel appears in the browser build but not the desktop app, the install is the problem, not your account.
