How to cancel or refund a Figma Weave plan

What actually happens when you cancel a Figma Weave plan, when a refund is realistic, and how to avoid losing credits.

Cancelling

Cancellation stops the next renewal; it does not usually end the current period. You keep access until the period closes, which means there is no advantage to cancelling early in a billing cycle.

What happens to unused credits

Credits attached to a subscription typically stop being usable when the subscription lapses. If you have a large unused balance, spend it before the period ends rather than after cancelling.

When a refund is realistic

Refund requests are far more likely to succeed when they include:

  • The invoice reference.
  • The date and time of the charge.
  • A clear statement of what was not delivered (for example, a documented outage window).

Duplicate charges and charges after a completed cancellation are the strongest cases.

Avoid the common mistake

Removing a payment method is not cancellation. The subscription stays active and simply fails to renew, which can leave the account in a suspended state instead of a cleanly closed one.
