  1. Place icons outside active Weave frames

Injecting raw vector assets directly inside an active Weave auto-layout node can break spatial layout engine calculations. Drag and drop icons onto a blank area of the canvas first, then drag them manually into the Weave layout.

  1. Ungroup multi-level icon wrappers

Third-party icon plugins frequently wrap SVG vectors in multiple nested groups or component frames that conflict with Weave smart layout constraints. Select the inserted icon, press `Cmd + Shift + G` / `Ctrl + Shift + G` to ungroup, and flatten redundant layers.
