figma weave blank frame output fix
Fix issues where Figma Weave generates empty frames or transparent nodes instead of complete UI components.

It can be frustrating when Figma Weave completes a generation cycle but outputs an entirely blank frame, invisible layer shapes, or empty auto-layout containers. This issue typically happens when vector rendering styles fail to compute, layer opacities default to zero, or account token synchronization breaks during rendering.
Quick checks
- Inspect the Layers panel: Check if generated text and shape nodes exist in the layer tree but have 0% opacity or hidden visibility toggles.
- Verify account credit balance: Ensure your usage quota has not expired mid-generation by reviewing our Figma Weave billing error guide.
- Toggle dark/light mode: Switch your canvas background color to reveal white vectors generated on light backgrounds.
- Unhide hidden layer groups
Sometimes Weave successfully constructs layout components but outputs them inside collapsed or hidden group tags due to an incomplete stylesheet stream. Expand the generated frame in your left sidebar, select all child nodes (`Cmd+A` / `Ctrl+A`), and press `Shift+H` to make all elements visible.
- Reset default paint and fill styles
An intermittent glitch causes Weave to render layout shapes with transparent fills (`0% opacity`) or missing hex colors. Select the blank frame, navigate to the right-hand Design panel, and apply a standard fill color (e.g., `#FFFFFF` or `#1E1E1E`) to check if structure geometry is present.
- Re-synchronize account access and tokens
When credit validation drops mid-stream, Weave creates target frame containers but fails to populate them with generated elements. Refresh your login session by signing out of Figma and logging back in, then verify your account standing using the Figma Weave not generating checklist.
- Regenerate with lower layout complexity
Extremely nested component prompts can cause the rendering engine to drop layout child nodes silently. Simplify your prompt into modular requests—such as generating a navigation bar first, followed by content cards—to ensure all vector nodes render correctly.
Still stuck?
If blank frame outputs persist across multiple files, clear your browser cache or re-install the desktop app to remove corrupted template cache files. Figma Weave Support is an independent help resource and is not affiliated with Figma, Inc.
